The Queen of Herts baked some… cakes… all on a summer’s day

The Queen of Herts Garden Fete in August raised £1,402.10 to be divided equally between Parkinson’s UK and the MS Trust. The winners of the cake design competition were Daniel Green (3 years old) and Isobel Saunders (10 years old) who will have their designs made into cakes for their next birthdays by owner of Queen of Herts, Liz Thompson.

It was a lovely sunny day and we bumped into lots of friends from St Albans and Harpenden. I had a huge piece of red velvet cake, and we bought cupcakes covered in sweets for the children and friends. Raffle prizes came from lots of local companies including Godfrey’s fish and chips. A fab amount raised – well done everyone!???????????????????????????????
